I was accused of hate speech and summarily cut off from Facebook after over 20 years. The series is not hateful in any respect. I have lived in Dearborn for nearly 72 years and was merely pointing out that some of our Muslim population is becoming radicalized and that we need to take action to deradicalize our population. Well, the problem is HOW they use the digital ID. I have mine for nearly 20 years now because if you work with people over the internet, its nice to know with whom you are working, if you really are the person you pretend to be, think NDA. But i use this ID only for emails.
There should be an option to just deliver the data needed, if they want to know your age, they should only be able to read your age, and of course they should only read it, not store it.
And before we start something like that "they" should write decent and safe software, so that your data is not lying on an unprotected server (yes, i am talking about you, Meta!).
I quit paid subscriptions in 2023 when the final evolution of the credit card companies selling our private credit card data without us knowing came around. Substack really sucks as a platform now. I will get over to your website when I am out of this crunch. Bravo to you for leading the pack!

You would not believe the bullshit Americans are fighting now on this front. Since 2015, we can't use any gift cards outside of the US. If I want to make an international credit card donation, I have to call the credit card company and demand that they process the payment - at the same time I am trying to make it. Sometimes a fraud alert is also kicked off simultaneously, requiring me to 'unblock' my credit card.
The GFEs* do NOT want us spreading any wealth outside US borders... and especially not to other members of the fight back.
